What Can I Do for You?

Site News

I'm sitting here working on a couple of books (Book 3 of the History and "The Machine God (The Drifting Isle Chronicles)") and a short story collection ("Whithorse"). You're doing whatever it is you're doing, waiting for them--and boy, I'm so glad you are. I can hear you out there breathing, and it inspires me to keep writing.

But it occurs to me that there's going to be a wait for you until those books get out to you. I can't write any faster than I am, and I can't take any more time for side projects other than what's already on my plate. That is, I can't do any Gulch right now.

So, keeping that in mind, what I want to know is: What can I do for you? How can I keep you guys happy in the interim?

I'm considering doing some Google+ Hangout readings of the History, just getting on there and sorta live podcasting "Lovers and Beloveds." I'm thinking it might be a good warm-up for the audiobook. Maybe answer questions.

Anything else you'd like to see? I'm trying to learn what it is I do for you to begin with--why you come to me when there are so many well-written books out there and interesting authors to choose from. Learning that will help me give you more of what you want from me--or perhaps need from me, since I don't always give you what you want. Smiling

What do you think, sirs?

What can I do for you?

My oh my, is that ever a loaded question...

I sincerely want to know

I don't think it's that much of a loaded question. Any question that loaded would unload at the reality of me, I do assure you.

aye...

I think you under estimate yourself.

But ya, I know what you're getting at. I would have said the BPAL reviews, but you've started doing that again.

Why do I come here?

You're one of the few web authors I read who actually interacts with their readers. I feel like I know you, at least to some extent. I have a small insight into your life. It makes you seem...real. Human. Something.

As for what you can do? Keep writing. Smiling I would love to see more Gulch, but I know that's not an option right now. I loved the two Aria Afton short books I read. Serializing Book Two, even though I have it, still keeps me interested. I don't have a lot of time to read anymore, so seeing it in short bursts lets me "re-read" it without having to set aside a big chunk of time. I can do it while the child is napping, or in the 5 minutes that he's occupied elsewhere.

I don't think you're crazy. I think you're colorful. The kind of colorful that does well with medication!

Well...

I do like this book series, it is very interesting and I like how well you weave the sex, which is not over done, in with the story. You take your time with your stories and do your best to keep in contact with the readers, which is a good thing to see. The only thing I wish is that I could read the original draft, and that's it. :/

You can

but it's in the premium section. I don't want it generally available because it's the first draft, I think you can understand why. I don't want people thinking that's the best I can do, because it isn't.

Thank you for your very kind words!
