12 sts/in in k2p2 rib (more like 7 sts/in in stockinette)

Two Pairs of Mitts, Part One

Winter's Beginning, 989 KY

Winmer and Affton sorted the post at Tremont Keep twice a day, once in the morning and once in the late afternoon. The family and guests received theirs at breakfast and tea, but the servants got theirs just once, at dinner, not to be opened until they were dismissed for the night.

This day's post contained a brown paper package addressed to "Miss Arta Dannikson, Tremont Keep," with a return address of "Miss Katheny Dannikson, Daub Cottage, Templestone, Valmouth." Arta took it to her room and sat on her bed, her bare feet tucked under her nightgown against the cold as she untied the string.

Northwoodsman/Davik's Points Story: The Cavalry's Pride

Northwoodsman by way of Davik: Jenks' petition to the Warrior Temple (was he torn between several before dedication, etc). Or: Jenks in boot camp.

I don’t know if this answers the question, but this is what came out. In this story, Patrin is 24 and Jenks is 20.

This is also a reader cameo. It shouldn’t be too hard to guess who, and this won’t be his only appearance.

Saramander's Points Story: News for Breakfast

Saramander: Perhaps something like a conversation between Sedra and Harsin? Like politics over breakfast or something? I get the impression that the two share a special relationship and that he discusses kingly things with her more freely than he would with Ansella or Temmin, I think it would be fun to catch a glimpse of that relationship. This takes place the morning of “Keeping Oneself to Oneself.”
