I love that time zone--just because it's so off-kilter from the rest of the world. Smiling Newfoundland interests me a great deal for some reason. There's a town there called Comebychance, which is an amazingly good name for a town. Have to visit some time, the province, that is.

we also have Dildo, Conception Bay, Heart's Desire, and a bunch of other pretty cute town names. Funny thing about Come-by-Chance is the giant phallic smokestack you can see from the highway there. they've got an oil refinery. Smiling I could go on, but I don't think this is the place for town name discussion, lol.
I think you will have to visit, though. It's a beautiful place. a little dull for a 20-something to stay in, but beautiful all the same.

Whenever I'm looking for town names, the UK is the first place I dig around for inspiration. I love Britain. I loved London the brief time (30 years ago) I was there. I love the BBC. And I know I wouldn't last five minutes living there before I went screaming back to the US of A. Hopeless American, me.
