Transition--in the Labor Sense

When you're in labor--labor, like having-a-baby labor--you come to a point just before you're ready to push called transition. Transition sucks. It's the darkest night of the soul imaginable. You feel like nothing matters and what if it did. You can't do it. You just can't do it. Make it stop already. You give up. Uncle.

That's how I feel right now.

Book two is probably going to drop tomorrow.

I had that poster. I think it's STILL hanging on the back of my bedroom door at my parents' place. I also saw one with the same kitten in a tree that said "oh shit!" but my mother wouldn't let me have it...

It's like the labor coach said. One minute. You can do it for one minute. And now the contraction has subsided and you can relax for a minute. Oh, next contraction, breathe, bear with it, and it's passed. The baby's almost there...
