So. The child is 6 1/2 months already. Already? Already! He is 15 pounds, 2 ounces and 26 1/4" long. Yes, he's short - but so are his parents. He's only now getting into the 3-6 month sized clothes! When he wants attention, he starts saying "mamamamamamamamama".
If he wants out of whatever he's in (car seat, chair, swing) he puts his hand up (which we've been working on since early on) and says "mama mama". Proof:
He is rapidly becoming his own little person, with his own personality. He's also becoming a pro at the Army-crawl. See?
We're working on transitioning to solids. The poor child has parents who are terribly lazy about it. Me mostly because he makes this "WTH are you putting in my mouth, woman, and what am I supposed to do with it?", regardless of what we attempt. I stop feeding him when he does that because who wants to eat something that tastes yucky? Husband says he does it for everything just because it's new. Pudding, on the other hand, is the only thing he DOESN'T make that face for - and it's not something WE feed him. My father insists on feeding it to him whenever he sees him. Doc just rolls his eyes.
