Rose & Bay Fiction Awards voting is open (update)

Boy, I'm just full of news these days. The Rose & Bay Awards for crowdfunded projects has opened for voting, and golly, you can vote for me there! I came in second last year to Cecilia Tan's "Daron's Guitar Chronicles," hardly a shameful thing, and the cool thing is it introduced me to her. She's the publisher at Circlet Press, which has bought two stories from me.

So anyway, vote for me! Biggrin

UPDATE: The original link was wrong; if you used it, you have to vote again. Sad

One of my buddies, whose work I have plugged here is also nominated. I got his print book at the same time I ordered yours. You got my vote, but I'm cheering for you both Blum 3

His is anachronauts, which I did a ton of editing for at least the first six chapters of before college and editing the student newspaper ate up all my free time.

... that, then. The poll was mentioned on AE's site two days ago, and the MUnkeys are out in force, it seems...

I'd still like it if folks voted for me, though. It's always nice to see someone likes my work enough to bother.

ETA: Last year she was nominated but didn't care enough to bother with it. It's the only reason Cecilia Tan won and I came in second. She would have clobbered us last year too.

Though I distrust the R&B polling method.

I still go over there to read every so often. But it always amazes me, with how slow her story progresses and with how she's always begging, that she has as many followers as she does...

... seems to have become something of a trademark for her, and given how huge her readership was I don't think it's all that strange that a core population who doesn't care about, or even likes, the apparent lack of progress would hang around. Heck, *I* still do. I don't care enough about the story to vote for it, but I still read it, skipping over the vast tracts of verbiage that are Mack's introspections to get to the good bits.

As for the R&B, you have my vote, MeiLin.

Despite how it looks, there's actually two polls and yer in second place behind the MUnkeys.
