Fundraiser: $10 for Chunk of Book 2 First Draft

As I said in the last blog post, my insurance company has decided I don't really need to have a particular critical test every month--or at least they don't have to pay for it. Nor do they have to pay large chunks of other bills I thought they were paying. And a tooth has decided to go bad at the same time.

Rather than whine here for donations, I'm offering you something for something. You give me $10, I give you the prologue and first chapter of book two. That's about 8,800 words.

Keep in mind that it's drafty in the extreme. You're going to note things aren't as filled out as they should be. Wording may be awkward in spots. There may be editing artifacts or typos. The whole thing may even get thrown out in the end (don't think so, but it could happen). But if you really want to know what to look forward to, you'll get a good idea.

a job I'm totally going for this (if it's still up and running when I do), setting aside money for the presale package, rejoining the patrons, and....and...buying myself some cookies!

Keep this running for a little bit, please? I start work tomorrow, but won't get paid until the 1st.

Most High

I think this will be running for at least a month. I just got off the phone with the asshat insurance companies (plural) and I've got a bigger bill than I thought to pay. Insurance industry, DIAF.

This seems like as good a time as any to come roaring back onto the scene!

I'll buy this! Please wait for Friday, when I will get paid. Great idea!

Most High well as ongoing subscribers and supporters. You helped pay an outstanding vet bill and get poor Floppy Dog his flea meds; he's been miserable. Now to tackle the hospital, and then the dentist!
