How many people are taking exams?
I know exams are stressful, no fun, and they call for procrastination. I have been quite busy myself with all things school, but after reading through the recent comments on the bonus stories I am curious. How many readers are taking exams right now (or within a week or so)? I'd like to take a tally and officially wish each and every person who is taking tests/exams the best of luck. I know a large percentage of the readers are students, but exactly how many of us currently reading are taking exams? Own up - I know you are here procrastinating or taking a break from studying
I'll start: I am number 1.
Edit: It amuses me how many people quickly replied to this thread - I see we're all working hard. }:) I would like to reply to a lot of your statements, but at the moment, I have to study for my 3 remaining exams, eep! Anywho, before I go, a few helpful hints I have picked up this semester: 1) Eat some form of turkey about 3 hours before you take your exam (if on a sandwich, preferably use some form of a wheat bread). It will put something in your stomach and it will actually help you think more clearly. In a nutshell, turkey has properties that help your brain function faster and more efficiently and eating 3 hours before ensures that it is being processed in your system by the time you take your final. Also, the wheat products stay in your system longer ensuring that your stomach is not rumbling and distracting you throughout your final. 2) I'm not entirely sure how or why this is true, but peppermints are supposed to help you think better - so grab a candy cane before you walk into your exam. *Both of these courtesy of my human physiology professor* ^___^
